A very con-current Affair on Today Tonight...

Very rare for me to willingly tune in to Channel 7 or Channel 9 for the exaggerated affairs programs as I was bored.

But to my astonishment, A Current Affair and Today Tonight (Channel 7 and 9's affair programs screened at 6:30pm tonight) both aired the same 2 stories in the same sequence meaning the 2 stories I already knew about were drilled again... The pill dilemma and the death of the All Saints actor

Collusion or just plain coincidental that both programs aired their stories in the same sequence and despite channel flicking between the 2, both used up almost equal air time for the program = Agitation!!

Hi all,

Long time no posts but I am going to try and keep this up to date now - lots happening in Adam's life right now...

Single at the moment after several breakups with the one I loved most dearly. Unfortunately, work/study commitments were cited so I was broken up with. Hopefully we can remain friends but no contact so far so hopefully everything is ok, Ryan.

Changed branches at work so if a break up wasn't bad enough, I was slugged with a transfer to a non-legal branch due to inaccurate and inconsistent work being completed - all of which is bullshit but I guess you go with the flow (ironically against my principles I preached at work where bullying and tormenting should never be tolerated *sigh*).

So onto the main reason for the post, in case you live in a cave, are overseas, or blatantly ignorant to newspaper media, I was in the Daily Telegraph on page 11 on Tuesday 19 August. After asked the way to look at the camera etc., I was snapped up with a "frustrated" look and the piccie placed in large print along with 2 quotes conveniently taken out of context about train waiting times. To date, I have been acknowledged for being in/famous after the ordeal from colleagues, people frm a business I visit as part of work, a manager from a major supermarket, a fuel station attendant I visit for refuelling the company car, friends, family, and officiating friends. Putting it lightly, I have been lapping all the attention up but it was not the best of pictures - my "frustrated" look included boofed hair and a nasty frown!

Life really is a rollercoaster of emotions

Friday last week, I had a long and rather emotional conversation with a 'friend' who I have been attracted to and with whom I felt was a real cutie for almost 2 years.

I had finally booked tickets to come up and see the friend in Brisbane for the first time in real life and stay the weekend (of which is this weekend coming up now).

But the problem I found out on Friday was the friend was seeing someone else of which "sparks were flying" between them especially since they weren't in different states (such is the situation with me and 'the friend').

So meanwhile, back at the Friday conversation, it was an emotional night to kick start my weekend and was embarassingly fuelled further by the fact I was crying in a public internet cafe for I was let out of work early from a computer update office-wide.

The break off had been announced and because of the very nature of the hurt suffered, I had announced that friendship was not to even continue.

Tonight, I have just been advised that he (yes, by this stage readers, it is illustrating my orientation) has now broken up with his guy he was dating so I am baffled and experiencing many mixed emotions.

Should I still go up and meet this special, but cheating, spunk since tickets have already been paid for etc. - furthermore, foolishly for affection, I have organised for airfares up this weekend coming and fortnights time weekend - or should I stand my grand especially since distance is now suddenly a problem?

Half a year ago, he was really into me but from his view on the events, it came off as though I had problems with the distance and didn't want to make things progress. After attempts to get the second chance, I thought one had been given to start afresh but, as per above, things went array.

Long time no update so try to put my life's story in here up until now.

Finally decided on a Coffee-coloured Hamilton-styled 2-seater sofa from Freedom after much indecision... Delivery in around a week.

Returned from Australian Open on Thursday last week where I was line umpiring. A fantastic experience and a real eye-opener to the opportunities out there in the wide world for tennis umpiring.

Did a lot of house chores this long weekend and still with a day to go, surely my place will be clean by the end!

Also, I succumbed to peer pressure in getting a facebook - searching my name (Adam Coombes) should find my ugly mugshot.

Today, upon spraining my ankle, took the liberty to chase up an ongoing problem and found myself stranded in the Westmead 'Hospital Block'/

Walking on dreamy footpaths to end with barbed wire fenced car parks was not only frustrating but illogical.

Whilst continually walking, I stumbled upon the Westmead Court and might be seen on the news tonight in the background of footage of a matter heard today... Resourceful day methinks.

So trying to tie the abstract article into the title, just came to me how pushy an interviewer can be to get a picture or recording - camerapersons lurking in a shrub will surely have their pictures published in tomorrows paper.

Eddie Maguire, the host of the 'sequel' 1 vs 100, made a subtle slip of the tongue on tonights episode making mention of "Who wants to be a Millionaire" (his previous gameshow to the current quizical-natured show). The slip was, for those still interested, "Who wants to be... Oh wait, 1 versus 100..." My sense of humour.

2 new series' also debuted tonight on cheesy Channel 9 of which both are typical Channel 9 endorsed series' bought with copious amounts of money with no quality!

Chaser children... Canada??

A squadron of representatives of the Chaser's War on Everything was today detained (not arrested like other misleading news sources... A Current Affair comes to mind because of their infuriating exaggerations!) for getting through the hyperbolised security in NSW for the APEC Conferences.

Yesterday marked the first protest I have ever seen where there are more police than protesters and so one would surely think the amount of Police meant more tight security... No sir! Too many cooks has spoilt the broth.

The 'comedians' (as termed by Channel 9) rented vehicles and pretended to be the Canadian convoy, mimicking the motorcade movements of other "Protected Persons" currently in our beautiful city of Sydney, and was allowed access to the VIP path of road. The epitome of embarrassing possibly?

Conflicts of Information

Trustworthy information being contradicted and/or becoming obsolete is part of life - the thought brought up by today's decommute from work.

Due to the incessant delays of Cityrail's services, the scrolling screen at Central (Station) was not updating with stations upcoming trains were to stop at nor the times they were due in.

Furthermore, the person over the p.a. system announced the train I hopped into would stop at different stops as per the p.a. system at the station and the 'obsolete' screen so a quick out and then back into the vestibule because of paranoia occurred.

So the question remains: Who do I trust in future?

PS Not a rant merely a venting :P

Learning is an interesting neurological concept whereby memory is implanted....

I tried sounding so intelligent and on top of the world but failed miserably half way through the title.

Life really has a rollercoaster effect on my workload because when I announce I am busy for an event, things don't always go to plan and I end up stuck at home, trawling forums to end up being banned for being a controversialist (aka dickhead); creating a quasi-club at my apartment cranking up the same old techno music and literally pulling muscles for going into music mood and going ballistic; and talking to random e-people on IM programs I haven't even seen in person.

Work is a fine example of this rollercoaster phenomenon so eloquently described - no 2 days are the same ever since my somewhat promotion to a new branch but is a ritual and habitual state of mind really that bad. Anticipation of what is to come definitely comes with the sense of being able to prepare for something and such an advantage in life is made illegal in the corporation world for the gains at stake. In a job description, all the duties are, required by law, to be mentioned prior to the pen to paper action of signing on the dotted line. What really is the best workplace: a sturdy and essentially static workplace provides this insight but comes at the cost of autonomy and mechanic however a seemingly different day-to-day routine will inevitably expand this learning concept and lead to improvisation techniques?!

Flex time has been the cure to this working in the Public Sector but flexibility is never granted. You can choose your own hours except for when you have to be in the office and how long you can take lunch... All you can do is laugh and watch the concept be drowned in Union fee splurging.

Complaint and whinging measures must be played in the negotiation phase because following the shephard like prized sheep is, put simply, like a communist workplace. My blog was created for whinging and so should come at no surprise I started posting again with callous calamities in my life.

11:18... Disastrous Downtime

Tis funny to think that after all this time of no updates, the first post I make is about unexpected down time on a leading fm radio station.

Graciously, I listen to the radio all day in my office/reception and at approximately 11:16am, a blank airing occured on Today FM (104.1) during a song being broadcasted - was not even a second but I heard it so they can't hide it!

Oh and other news includes new job, renting now in Carlingford due to parental problems; kicked out.

US$100 fine 'bill' is to be introduced in the United States for NY if caught listening to iPod/personal music player whilst crossing the road - too many pedestrians killed from "not paying attention to the road". Yere... Propose:
A) Fines for listening to music on trains for not hearing announcements
B) Not having windows down in motor vehicle hence impeding hearing of emergency vehicles
C) Listening to personal music full stop because someone might need your help

AMERICA NEEDS TO GO THROUGH ANARCHY TO THEN REALISE HOW FLAWED THEIR LEGAL SYSTEM IS...

Oh and I have fallen in love with the Telegraph's mx to the extent of sending in comments for 'Vent your anger'. I love being the odd one out opposing everyone else's views just to be a tosser :)

Catch is, it is a voluntary organisation which is struggling in members in the Armidale region to the extent we must turn down numerous events a year.

Because of loyalty to the organisation, I would prefer not to name it nor post the comments made and will only disclose if you supply me with direct contact details.

In the end, I am allowed to talk about the person behind their back because I have been accused of it already - revenge is going to be sweet.

Today's chuckle resulted from a 'startling' revelation that triplets sat a Mathematics examination today and the siblings claim studying in threes helps...

I am only concerned about their location - The Honourable Prime Minister claims that we don't need to sign the Kyoto Agreement and so probably believes having a Nuclear Waste Plant in Lucas Heights is nothing to be "alarmed" with... For the record triplets are rare!

All through wretched High School I was convinced 'Johnny' was the man to be in position because of generous funding to the school I was fortunate to attend... I am now considering my options available in the next federal election although a Donkey Vote is so tempting.

It really touched home to me how foxtel/austar etc. channels can buy exclusive rights to certain sports when the concept of sport itself should be available to all especially when Australia is playing internationally (a certain aspect of patriotism comes into place).

STAR City casino in Sydney acted irresponsibly and shirked its moral duty when it gave high-roller status to a "minor servant" of a bank who gambled $8 million in stolen money, a court has been told.

Former Commonwealth Bank employee Erick Tjandra, 32, stole $10.4 million from dozens of bank customers over 15 months to fund his addiction, the NSW District Court was told today.

The 32-year-old has pleaded guilty to 37 counts of obtaining money by deception between December 2004 and his arrest in March this year.

During sentencing submissions today, Justice Christopher Armitage said the casino had failed in its "moral responsibility" by allowing Tjandra to gamble with the high rollers.

"To allow a young man who is obviously a minor servant of the bank to be in the high rollers' room was an irresponsibility," he said.

Defence lawyer David Patch said Star City admitted Tjandra to a private gambling room named after late media mogul and multi-millionaire Kerry Packer.

"He was allowed to be alone in what's called the Kerry Packer room and that's private gambling," he said.

Judge Armitage said this showed the casino had acted "irresponsibly to a high degree".

Unlike the late Mr Packer, Tjandra was not a "well-known millionaire", Judge Armitage said.

"He was wrongly admitted to gamble to high stakes by himself, privately against the house."

But Tjandra's fraud offences were very serious, Judge Armitage said.

While the bank, and not its customers, was left with the debt, the shareholders were the "real victims", he said.

He accepted Mr Patch's submission the father of two did not use the money to improve his lifestyle.

"I know he has not received any personal gain from it ... (he) poured it down the throat of the casino," Judge Armitage said.

Tjandra was suffering from a pathological gambling disorder and was not fully aware of the consequences of his actions, Mr Patch told the court.

"Pathological gambling is treated as a disability with the result that the offender was not fully aware of the consequences," he said.

Mr Patch recommended Tjandra receive a discounted sentence because he had shown genuine remorse, had sought help for his gambling addiction and had entered an early guilty plea.

"It's not just a matter of someone being sorry because they've been caught and they're in trouble and they're going to get punished ... he really is sorry," he said.

Tjandra, who is on bail, faces a maximum five years jail for the offences.

Judge Armitage adjourned the case for sentencing on October 27.

My latest winge is about the overuse of absolutely in Armidale. Currently Harvey Norman has an advertising campaign saying, I kid you not, "Absolutely almost everywhere" - just say almost everywhere for heavens sakes!

Also, I am quite intrigued by the fact that Dominos Pizza advertises "Do crusts really make your hair curly... Find out yourself" a few days after 'What's good for you' aired an article about crusts... Dominos advertises on channel 9 also!

17:07:45 - 17:20:00 = 12 minutes 15 seconds to silence the unbearable racquet that signalled yet another alleged fire.

Well, NSW Fire Brigade, you have let me down - a 2 minute and 15 second slump in response is nothing to be proud of I guess... Well neither is the fact that it takes longer for 1 vehicle to be mobilised compared to 2!

The main thing is that I took Sir AAA's advice and took some reading material with me and learnt something - reading whilst sub-conciously hearing a fire alarm going off counteract each other's comprehension

Fake Fire alarm Fellonies

Fire alarm went off at 17:29 Wednesday 24 May (or at least according to my computer's clock). According to a recording of mine (a devised experiment simply waiting for the alarm to go off), it took 9 minutes 20 seconds for the Fire Brigade to switch the fire alarm off and 5 seconds after that to switch it back to the on position (although I am not focusing on their blunder tonight). The fire alarm had been going for approximately 30-35 seconds before I began recording meaning a total time of 10 minutes (give or take 10 seconds included) to arrive on scene when trustworthy 'whereis' believes that the journey itself takes 6 minutes - good/bad/normal time; what do you think?

It does also baffle me as to why sometimes the alarm goes off and 2 trucks arrive whereas on other occasions only 1 truck comes and on the select few instances a cherry picker makes its way to our College - just a guess really... so many false alarms the Fire Brigade might as well test out their vehicles in case there was a REAL fire.

Wow; it did entitle me to chuckle when the NSW Fire Brigade's domain is http://www.nswfb.nsw.gov.au/ - just for the extra 'nsw' geographic awareness!

A point detailing the wheris.com.au's credibility however: 1.52 km can be done in 2 minutes through a 50 km/h is definitely denying physics' credibility!

Rather disappointed that upon several attempts to ascertain my soul's value, the same error was displayed on my laptop's screen. I understand the fact that the idea of selling your soul most probably was brought up by the cult-ural series The Simpsons whereby Millhouse (excuse spelling if it is incorrect; my knowledge of the addictive show is limited to say the least!) the 'point dexter' buys Bart's (I mean Brat) soul for a belittled sum of money. I am, thereby, admitting that I have been another 'suck in' patient of the organisation but if you would be so kind to inform me as to its purpose, I would be ever so gracious. Paying monthly/quarterly/annual fees for the domain etc. is a very efficient resource allocation but then again the shareholders of this so called business is deemed to be psychologists and lawyers of 'high stature' in...Society?

Sin Bin...(no, not a method of christian-wrongdoings' disposal)

The following will affect all those involved in/directly with [s]soccer[/s] football (html encoding is somewhat limited, those who know html 'well' will understand what the prior-coding means),

Should the-game-involving-primarily-kicking introduce a 'sin binning' system? My immediate thoughts would be yes (although I haven't heard the issue brought up anywhere - feel free to leave a message if you have). My philosophy behind a Sin Bin (in all sports) is for grounds of 'cooling down' - that is, for those involved to reconsider their thoughts etc. With said I would like to make it clear that currently Football's method of cooling down is found in the carding system whereby a Yellow Card is given for "cationable offenses"; but is a Yellow Card really a caution or a punishment itself? Coming from a qualified Level 3 Referee, I would like to say no and reform the laws

When one is to analyse the 'major' (yes, controversial term right there) sports, he/she/it would find that the 'Sin Binning' system is used in 'all bar one' - Football.

My current stance on Speeding v. Acceleration of motor-vehicles remains evident however won't be taken to the RTA temporarily as I have had my own problems with the law recently; however I am willing to take this issue further asap because of the very nature + affiliation I have with Football games every day that I MUST send-off players for something ultimately not worthy of a Red Card (contrary to the Laws of Football)

If there are any players/coaches/referees/public citizens that are for/against this issue, make yourself known as when I brought the issue up today with a colleague, their stance was an immediate 'yes, there should be Sin Binning' - the local radio station was broadcasting the controversial issue of Rugby League? whereby a player was 'sin binned' which sparked the thought at the time!

Just to touch a philosophical debate, however, at this prime time, I would like it to be known that I am strongly against the use of pleasantries - i.e the over-used 'Sorry', 'Please', 'Thankyou' etc. - as they have a diminished meaning in today's societies. Correct me if I am wrong, but what is the use of saying sorry if it realistically has no meaning; wouldn't a deed/errand suffice?

It was only recently Senseo came out with a revolutionary coffee pod system...When the name was then altered in todays news to Sam, I was quite shocked to say the least!

Sam Sao - Fake Officer (as he is known to Channel 10) has been fined over $8000 for impersonating a Police Officer claiming he has been recently promoted to Sergeant.

Now I am not sure what happens with this issue now that precedent has been laid, but there must be a line drawn between immaturity/morally wrong and that of Legally wrong - the matter has been somewhat distorted to the public due to a biased view regarding the issue and so my knowledge is limited to a large extent.

The quote Southern Cross Ten's Late News referred to was clrealy showing signs of intoxication - I can reasonably say someone has said the same (or largely similar) notion whilst in an altered state of mind however the issue would have been disregarded - making reference to being a "police officer" and wanting to "finish [his] drink".

Recidivisy is in question, I believe, and has been made public - the accumulation of fines was touched on by the reporter however only 2 occurences were discussed (both of which appear to even demise the Police Force!)

In summary, therefore, I would like to state that although the accused appears to have an altered state of mind in one or more of the occurences, he is not worthy of the fines - especially whilst taking into consideration his desires to join 'the Force'

En-Phantomation...Why bother?

To those already questioning the made up word 'phantomation' think of it as two words in one: phantom (Something apparently seen, heard, or sensed, but having no physical reality; a ghost or an apparition.) and ation (Action or process). Additionally, when the term 'en' is inserted, this action or process is apparently inflicted upon someone/thing else. The rest of the title you can figure out for yourself including its applicability to my previous post.

So in reply to a particular 'Scribbler', my post was rudimentary for the sole reason of establishing good foundations - I particularly liked how you touched on my audience being next to none - because the basics, especially politically as I am not a political person, allow for evolution of sophistication. I do however share your thoughts because of the applicability to the issue at hand; it would have been much more simpler if I had mentioned my view on abolishing speed limits up front. Additionally, paragraph structure has been edited - although I did warn all of its lengthiness, a suitable structure would help

To this extent, I would metaphorically like to 'grind to a halt' all issues relating to speeding in society temporarily and suggest the new age Safe Speeding - The abolishment of speeding being against the law and the introduction of acceleration laws. A quick google search for any similar thoughts was diminished by the niche market, so as to speak, I had catastrophically created - not one person, according to Google's first few pages of results after entering Speeding vs Acceleration, has created a website to publish their views.

I find that the following quote sums up my research into the field nicely (but also annoyingly as it has taken such time whilst this website has held empirical research for some time!):
"As such speed variance and not average travel speed influences the level of crash involvement. If all the traffic was flowing at 140-150 km/h the risk of a crash would be alot less than the traffic flowing at 105 km/h with several drivers weaving through the traffic at 140 km/h."
The quote above was simply extracted, without breaching Copyright I hope, from the Safe Drive Training institute that has offices in several countries - http://www.sdt.com.au excusing the potentially immature partial-dyslexism 'The Scribbler'- however I would like to make special note of the fact that the site in which I have used as basis of my research today, has not got a hyperlink to it from the main homepage (or from any page under the domain sdt.com.au for that matter); possibly suggesting that such a reputable organisation does not want the public to know the truth behind speeding.

More so,
"Some research has shown that travelling 20 km/h slower than the surrounding traffic is just as dangerous as travelling 40 km/h faster. Although not quite at my conclusion, a deviated but similar justification of the fallacy Speeding Kills is evident 'out there' already. Although titles are over-rated in my view, the title of the page includes "THE FACTS" suggesting that the truth has possibly been clouded by intervention of a 3rd party.

"In Germany we have autobahns with unlimited speed and they are the safest"
"A recent study by the British Transport Laboratory has found that excessive speed was a factor in fewer than 5% of more than 3000 traffic accidents analysed. I am still to officially suggest this radical change to the appropriate authorities however I would like people to show their support/agreement in any form (by email, by comments on this/last post etc.) - I do not believe in rallies/protests nor will I ever result in such a manner for this cause.

In summing up, my ammendments would look something like this:
1. Acceleration limits are more important than Speed Limits - note the word selection
2. Both maximum and minimum values would be put into place varying on road conditions
3. Advertising of both the old and new protocols be rationed for simplicity and correct resource allocation

Titleless - the paradoxical claim

I have taken my thoughts, with origins from a dream I believe, and taken them one step further...thought about them more. You see it is one thing to think [arguably possible in terms of cognitive ability] and another thing to think more intensely.

Now that my daily 'useless thought' has been opened up on the World Wide Web, I can now begin my actual post - Safe Speeding...There is such a thing. I am sure the Australian Police Force have propagandised most inhabitants of Australia with the ever-so catchy slogan aimed at society 'Safe Speeding...There's no such thing' but is it really worth it; and better still, is there such a thing as safe speeding in the first place? However, I can honestly warn people of the lengthiness of this post as I have been researching the issue for some time and the subsequent bias that may follow leaning towards Victoria and Queensland (reasons to follow), whilst not making me an expert though of course!!

Budget Surplus = Stupid Government not spending money on infrastructure, or better still, advertising to slow motorists?. My aim now is not to persuade ones political views of right/wrong nor to persuade one into voting for, let's say, One Nation Party but simply to indicate a claim from the majority of Australia that since we have money to splash around where is the harm - evident in the Speeding Kills campaign(s)? The cost of speeding-related accidents across Australia, even magnifyed to a State Level cost, has been splashed across websites, newspapers, radio, and other forms of media but they don't seem to announce that often how much the campaigns actually cost.

Personally, I have been involved in an accident INVOLVING (not due to) speeding as the driver and have paid the sonsequences - wasn't focused on the road myself but on my radio channel (of which you can only guess the frequency is!) and before I know it the orange signal had changed to red resulting in a delayed braking; of which costed me 3 demerit points, $50000 odd worth of damage to my father's BMW 535i, and the worst cost of all...pyscholgical trauma. I cannot go past the area at which the 3-car-accident occured without flashbacks to the incident, nor can I bear the possibility of the accident occuring ag ain - 1st car was written off so the driver was saying at the time and 2nd car was to be repaired but the time lost at work, supposedly, had just lost the respective driver his job. The reason why I am telling you this is because I am not a sadistic being that wants people to speed so there is more fatalities on the roads of Australia but because, with experience in the 'other side of the argument', so as to speak, I aim to speak independently free from vilification. Although the incident had speeding as a mitigating circumstance, so they would say if the Police was even remotely interested in my speed at the time, the 'direct' reason was lack of concentration particularly at an intersection.

Moving ahead, I would now like to discuss lingo used by the RTA and other advertisement making bodies all over the country utilise (please e-mail me ommitted jingles that, at the very least, were made post-1987):
1. Safe Speeding...There's no such thing (or word order differences)
2. Speeding Kills
3. Every (k) over is a killer
4. Please, slow down
5. High Speed. Low IQ
6. ...5 k's difference up there makes 27 k's difference down here
7. "I don't think there's anything wrong with it"..."I [certainly] don't think it's dangerous"..."[Look] I'm a pretty good driver"..."I can't see how doing 10 or 15k over makes any difference"..."She doesn't want your excuses"
8. The negatives of speeding...You kill...You maim...You disable...You disfigure...No positives...Just nightmares...Forever...Expect the worst
9. Exceed the limit by any amount [and] expect the worst
10. Slow down...Stick to the limit
11. The faster you go the longer it takes to stop
12. Has your car got a nut loose at the wheel
13. Speed camera z(60)ne
14. 50km/h on local streets will save lives

To put it simply - these prices were (and still are; might as well give it a buzz!) applicable to mini-thermoses at the Supershow. It does raise the question of what the shop keepers are on/not on and if the sellers actually know the rrp. I am not here to question the actual price of the thermoses however I simply wanted to bring this up to give a minute insight into my disgust (or whinge :P) of how people mark-up prices. With a current interest in Sociology (because I am engaged in the discipline at University), the Marxist capitalist view has now been raised and conflict is clearly evident. Just a quick comment for readers, if there are any yet.

Untitled due to complexities!?

First of all, my titles are, and will awlays be, lame. Title creation is not my profession nor is it an interest of mine - excuse them if you find them inappropriate.

To begin today's entry, as if this blog is a personal diary, I would like to make it know that yesterday's uninformative entry was due to insomnia and, quoting National Geographic Channel's 'random fact' (although not labelled that), sleep deprivation because such disorders lead to "abnormal brain function". To this extent, I would like to reassure readers, if any, that my cognitive ability seems to be normal at the time of writing this post.

Now, with all defects and preface(s) aside, todays post is to do with whinging itself. A whinge, when spelt correctly is defined by the infamous American Heritage Dictionary (because of the generic dictionary.com URL) as To complain or protest, especially in an annoying or persistent manner. Now with this said, the English dictionary is a circular fallacy, as taught in first year Philosophy, and so I cannot go further in the pursuit of a proper meaning of whinge. Now with this futilistic comment aside, I whinge a lot in my life because I have established a nice meaning of life; to find flaws. Pessimistic some might say but I think otherwise. My whinging has been brought out, to the best of my knowledge, because life has screwed me over numerous times. Today, I even have a whinge whereby I cannot whinge about Triple M's 'Spoonman' segment tonight - for the first time in my life the 'Spoonman' as the character portrays himself to be over radio gave a two-sided view of Wimbledon's latest controversy. It has been to much upheval that Wimbledon unequally pays out prize money due to gender - more for men by AUD$70000+ My view is men should be paid more just for the sake of an argument (as it is the only Grand Slam tournament I show great affection for) to which, although denied, The Spoonman is the same - couldn't give a damn but brought it up to appear using airtime 'efficiently'. It is without hesitation that I rest my case in Spoonman's role in Triple M's airtime all day everyday is to instigate arguments from his very nature. I do hope this post has now covered more ground than the last post!

What is Preference?

I would like to begin the birth of my new blog with a question for all interested - where does the boundary of preference begin and end?

To place a sexual affiliation, I am a virgin at blog upkeep and am always open to suggestions (and now with my first post's abstract, I shall begin my view...)

Preference is somewhat affiliated with a highly intensified notion of what it means to choose something over something else. Now to simplify matters, overused-pronumerals X & Y shall be used to illustrate choice.
X is a possibility of interest for the subject and Y is as EQUALLY a possibility of interest. However a being should be endeavouring to isolate a possibility and choose it to be of interest for reasons none other than to see life move on. With X & Y (excuse the title of Coldplay's new album) as options, why does this subject need to choose; what is the compelling nature of these 2 futilistic terms that life cannot proceed without? But the problem is I don't know the damn answer to my own rhetorical question!
