Out of touch with modern lingo?

Call me out of touch with current news but whatever you do, don't count me in as not knowing the lingo of today.

Watching a recording of yesterday's NBN news, the explosion at Port Macquarie Power Station involved witness giving their recollections:

"It was pretty hectic" said a youth with obvious peircings to his eyebrow

"As black as the Ace of spades" said another local (woman)

Just shows how under privaleged those are who live next to Power Stations - re the post about Lucas Heights ;)

Double Jeopardy... Ethical style

Today, at 21:30 AEDST, I was outrageously accused of talking about people behind their backs and consequently banned from attending a certain event this weekend. Catch is, it is a voluntary organisation which is struggling in members in the Armidale region to the extent we must turn down numerous events a year.

Because of loyalty to the organisation, I would prefer not to name it nor post the comments made and will only disclose if you supply me with direct contact details.

In the end, I am allowed to talk about the person behind their back because I have been accused of it already - revenge is going to be sweet.
